How To Use Campark action camera, you need to learn about it.
Is GoPro really necessary with $80 Campark available? Let's look at the prospects of the development about current action camera and find some clues related to this topic.
Over the years, GoPro is considered the best action camera in the market. They had been the number one choice for thrill-seekers, athletes, and just anyone who like to capture video while they are on the move. The brand became Silicon Valley's favorite in 2014. However after earlier stock price crashing by over 20 percent, GoPro has again cheered Wall Street by pledging to slash its workforce by 15 percent, shut down the entertainment division and refocus on action cameras and drones. But the moves are no panacea.
From a Silicon Valley's darling, to the nose dive now. What happened?
Let’s start with some example :
Here are listings from world’s largest online shopping website: Amazon. They are from Yi Camera and Campark, You can see the obvious fact, GoPro is selling its product at a significantly higher price than other brand, yet gain no higher customer rating or better sale numbers. Which means that these $200 Yi cameras, even the $70 Campark cameras have satisfied customers in some way as the GoPro does.
That is the GoPro’s problem, Nick Woodman doesn’t see the changes in today’s market, He is selling his camera at an unreasonable price regardless of the rival products. Although the whole system GoPro cameras operate on is not cutting edge technology. With the development of technology and more company getting in this business, the action camera is becoming more and more affordable, and nowadays it is no longer exclusive to extreme players, more of a normal gadget for ordinary people.
You might question the quality and functions of those cheap cameras, I have taken some customer review from Campark’s camera:
As this buyers said: 80% Gopro but 15% only of the price.
How could GoPro sell his Hero 5 at $400 when his rival camera could do almost everything a HERO does and charge only $70?
This is Gopro’s real problem, developing technology is making action camera more and more normal and affordable, GoPro should not keep selling his non-surprising cameras at this incredible price. Or he can give us something new, something amazing, something mind-blowing, That is the style to support its price.

Campark action camera is one of the most popular all over the world
Campark action camera is one of the most popular all over the world, it is not only cheaper, but also have so many advanced features, we believe that we will receive more customers'reviews. Please read about Campark ACT76 products by one of our customer's evaluation.
I love this camera! Bought to capture our fall hunting experiences. It worked great. The video quality is great. I will note that I have only filmed on 1080p, due to the fact that I don't have a 4k TV. Here's some of my comments from my overall impression:
Pros:
- Price: I feel that this is a good camera for the price, compared to a GoPro setup. For someone not making movies and just wanting to capture some fun events, this is a way better option.
- Compact and lightweight. It readily slipped into my pocket to be carried on foot or horseback
- Seems to be sturdy and not flimsy
- Selection of accessories that came with this should be almost everything I would need. I would have liked it to include a headband attachment so I could wear it over my ball cap. I was able to purchase one for cheap on Amazon, so not a big deal.
- Remote control works AWESOME!!!
Cons:
- Some of the language used in the menus is confusing. For example, in the Auto Shutdown menu, it lists 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and Close. I was wanting a setting where it would stay on all the time so it would be ready to shoot whenever I was (understanding this would kill the battery, but when hunting, you need to be ready all the time). With some experimenting I was able to determine that the Close setting was actually this. With Close on, it never auto shutdown. They should rename Close as Never.
- Startup time. This thing takes a long time to startup. Upwards of 8 seconds sometimes. Not a deal killer, but an annoyance. To mitigate, I have to leave the camera on all the time to catch the shots when they happen.
- Wish it came with an external charger. Have to take the camera out of the housing to charge each time.
- Not great video in low light conditions. This camera does best in full daylight.
Overall I am really happy with this camera and got some great shots of our hunts so far this fall. Also, NOTE, I originally had difficulty with viewing the videos on my computer. All I would get is fuzzy picture accompanying the sound and the occasional green screen. I ran the video through Sony's free Action Cam Movie Creator software, and then it spit out fully functional videos. I assume that this is due to me using an older computer that can't process or view 1080p.
I hope I have helped your purchasing decision of this product. I am not affiliated with the manufacturer, seller or any other product related company nor am I under any obligation to write this review. I do this for my own fun and pleasure! Feel free to comment and let me know if I have helped you, and please click "helpful" below if I was able to help. If you should have any questions, please post them below in the Comments. I try to answer all inquires in a timely fashion to the best of my ability. Lastly, Follow me on Amazon if you wish to be notified as I post new reviews. I promise they will always be meaningful and never a bunch of blathering junk.
Good News:Campark ACT74 4K SONY Sensor WI-FI camera APP problem solved
Campark is offering a variety of action cameras that are slightly different. The same cameras are also offered under different brands, making researching a problem more complicated.
The Campark 4K action camera model that I got is the Campark ACT74 with the Sony IMX179 image sensor and AllWinner V3 chipset. The description said I need to use the EZ iCam app to connect via Wifi and remote control the camera and view the live video stream. The app is though not connecting and throws an error.
As each brand has a different camera app, i have tried about 5 or 6, until I finally found the app that works with the Campark ACT74. The app is called XDV. Just search for XDV in the iTunes app store. This app works perfectly.
I also installed the latest firmware update for the Campark ACT74, which supposedly fixes the 4K resolution to be fully 3,840x2,160. The firmware is pretty new with a release date of 07/08/2016. The current ACT74 firmware version is C20160708V03. The camera shipped with firmware version C20160523V03.
Campark published the instructions to upgrade the Campark ACT74 firmware here. It is a fairly easy process involving to download the firmware file and placing it on a microSD card. Make sure the Campark is charged with more than 50% before upgrading. After placing the SD card back in the camera, go to the firmware Version option n the settings and push the Up button.
A dialog pops up asking if you want to upgrade. The installation takes a couple minutes and then your Campark ACT74 is up to date.
I bought this dirt cheap action camera for my kids to make Lego build videos in time lapse mode. The Campark camera supports time lapse recording as well as slow motion. I don't care necessarily about 4K. I have set the camera to 1080p/60fps recording. The camera should deliver acceptable image quality on HD. A GoPro is just too expensive for the purpose. This will be my boy's first action camera. Let's what else they will do with it besides making Lego videos.
I will eventually publish a little review of the Campark ACT74. If you have questions about the Campark ACT74, feel free to email support@camparkcamera.com. I try to find an answer.
Voice Of Customer:Campark Sports Camera review
We received a letter from a customer, he told us some detailed information about the products that he used in his life , we thank him very much, and hope that there will have more customers give us feedback information, so that we can make a better product for everyone. The content is below:
This summer I bought my son a remote controlled car. Soon, I thought “what if I could attach a camera to it?” I already had GoPro cameras, but I wasn’t sure mounting them to a zippy kid’s toy that’s prone to crashing. Fortunately, I had the chance to review the Campark Sports Camera, which boasts 4K video recording.
If it looks vaguely familiar, you’re right. There are quite a few GoPro-ish action cameras out there. Note the packaging simply says “ACTION CAMERA”. No mention of the name Campark anywhere. I suspect the packaging is deliberate for OEM customization. Just a hunch.
The kit comes with a waterproof case. Note the snap-release “foot” of the base. It is very similar to the GoPro system, but the foot won’t slip into GoPro bases. The 2-3 finger “hinge” is compatible, however.

Here are the basic specs, from the Amazon page. I’ve left it verbatim:

Battery Capacity: Built-in 1050mAh lithium battery
Dimensions: 59*41*24.6mm
Weight: 64g(with battery)
Waterproof Level: With waterproof case, 30 meters underwater
The kit comes with a waterproof case. Note the snap-release “foot” of the base. It is very similar to the GoPro system, but the foot won’t slip into GoPro bases. The 2-3 finger “hinge” is compatible, however.
Unlike your typical GoPro. the Campark camera comes with a wide assortment of mounting adapters for nearly every situation.
Here’s the camera, front and back, out of the waterproof case. On the back is an LCD screen. It is not touch-sensitive. Navigating involves a ballet between the power/mode button up front and the top-mounted record button (red circle) to select.Top, bottom, left and right views of the camera. If you’re familiar with the GoPro family, there are no surprises here.
Now here’s an accessory I haven’t seen before: It’s a two-part clip that snaps on the back. The clip part snaps on the back, obscuring the LCD display. Pretty clever. Naturally, this isn’t a waterproof setup.
The Campark is 20 grams lighter and manages to have a color LCD on the back. It comes with more mounting accessories than I’ve ever seen included with an action camera, and a second battery is included. As of this writing, the Campark Sports Cam is listed for $69 at Amazon, which is a good value- especially if your RC car driver is just out of the 4th grade.

Do You Know The Unknown Secret Action Camera?
An sport camera or sport-cam or action camera is unlike any other kind of camera. They're designed to be attached to helmets, surfboards, cars and other objects, and they're small, tough and simple to operate, with a lens that captures the world in high-definition video and in a wide-angle fish-eye perspective.
Their small size and dramatic POV (point of view) footage has made them popular with extreme sports participants, who capture their adventures by attaching cameras to themselves or their equipment. They're also used by TV production companies where using a regular video camera would be impossible.
There's lots of choice now, and you shouldn't just buy on brand – think about what you want from an action camera and how you plan to use it.If you are a beginner, then choose a suitable cameraa is very important,You can choose GoPro,but it belongs to the rich people. You can find Campark camera is really popular now. Campark Action cameras are small, lightweight, wearable, mountable, portable, and sometimes waterproof camcorders. They're useful because you can mount them to pretty much anything—from skateboards, surfboards, bicycles, and drones, to helmets, body parts, and even your pets.
Sure, you can also mount a traditional camcorder, which could very well feature better functionality and performance for the price. But regular camcorders are too heavy and bulky to strap onto yourself, your apparel, or your equipment. Plus, the gap between traditional camcorder and action camera performance is narrowing as technology improves. Action cams are forever getting smaller, lighter, and less expensive. Here you'll find the top-rated action cams we've tested.
- Frame Rates and Resolution
Before you start digging into the reviews, a few notes on choosing a cam that's right for you. You'll definitely want to consider frame rate, expressed as frames per second (fps). Some action cameras offer up to 120fps recording, while others only go to 30fps. For standard playback, 30fps is perfectly fine. It's when you want to slow footage down in editing to create dramatic scenes that frame rate matters. Footage captured at 120fps can be slowed down and played back smoothly at one quarter speed.
Then there's resolution and video quality. At this point, all modern action cameras can record in 1080p, but not all 1080p footage looks the same, as we found in our testing. Video quality differs quite a bit between the action cameras we've inlcluded here. More models have added 4K (UHD) recording, which dramatically improves resolution. But don't expect to shoot fluid slow-motion 4K video—the best models record at 30fps. And you'll need some serious computing power to edit the footage.
- Mounting
You'll also want to keep your specific needs in mind. Not all cameras are suitable for every sport, and certain form factors lend themselves better to certain activities. On top of that, different shapes allow for different mounting accessories and possibilities. If you want to catch a unique perspective, like an under-skateboard shot, you'll want to pay close attention to size.
- Waterproof
Waterproofing is important to consider if you'll be recording footage underwater or even around water. Some waterproof cameras can go deeper than others, and some have built-in waterproofing so that you don't need to think about extra housing. And if you're already invested in a system, like GoPro, which uses a proprietary mount, then sticking with what you've got can help save money on extra accessories.
Campark's action camera absolutely beyond your imagination.
For all we know that GoPro might be top dog in action camera right now but Campark reckons it can deliver a unique experience. The aim was to create a device that makes the journey of shooting, editing and publishing much more straightforward. The result is the ACT73R, a camera that will use its motion detectors and GPS to smartly detect and record exciting moments. It will even detect your heart rate (when paired with the TomTom Runner) and start capturing if it senses a spike in activity.
"We are not entering this category to be one of many," said Kevin. "We can deliver a different user experience."It's also the first camera to come with its a built-in media server, which means you won't need to download the footage you can edit it.With 170 degrees Ultra-wide lens, you won't miss out any background footage. And it supports up to 32GB micro SDHC card which will let you store all your photos and videos right on the action camera. And of course, it is waterproof. If you are a fan of water sports or are interested in making some stunning underwater footage – this waterproof sports action cam is just what you need. You can easily take it snorkeling or even diving with the waterproof case (included in the package) and get to learn more about the underwater world. The waterproof case has to be used while skiing, surfing, boarting and other actions which need dustproof or waterproof.
The ACT73R works with a companion app that lets you review your footage instantly, thanks to the camera's built-in media server. You can use the app to edit your movie with music overlays and all the usual tools, although one particularly interesting feature lets you simply shake the smartphone to "instantly create an exciting movie."
The Campark 4K sports action camera also comes with a nice set of accessories. In addition to the waterproof case, you will get helmet mount kit,4 zip ties, 3 straps, one bicycle mount and more. It's a bit of a gimmick, but we can imagine we'll have a lot of fun with it.

Do We Really Need A $400 GoPro Over A $80 Campark Action Cam ?
